Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Demeter is an F&B intelligence product operated by Coridors Pte. Ltd. (“Coridors”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Coridors is responsible for personal data collected through demeter.sg and related demo enquiries.

This Privacy Policy is intended to support our obligations under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”). Other laws may also apply depending on where you are located.

2. Personal data we may collect

Information you provide

When you request a demo, email us, or otherwise contact us, we may collect:

• first and last name;
• work email address and phone number;
• company and country;
• the content of your enquiry and our communications with you; and
• any preferences or business context you choose to provide.

Please do not provide sensitive or confidential datasets through the demo form.

Technical and usage information

When you access demeter.sg, we or our hosting providers may receive ordinary technical information needed to deliver and secure it, such as IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps, referring page, and diagnostic or security logs.

When you submit the demo form, Zoho CRM may receive the submitted fields and ordinary request information, including IP address, form identifier, page URL, timestamp, browser and device details, to process and secure the submission.

3. Why we use personal data

We may collect, use and disclose personal data for purposes that include:

• responding to demo requests, enquiries and support communications;
• arranging, tailoring and following up on a product demonstration;
• assessing whether Demeter may be suitable for your organisation;
• operating, maintaining, securing and improving demeter.sg;
• measuring site performance and diagnosing technical issues;
• maintaining business and compliance records;
• preventing misuse, fraud, security threats or unlawful activity;
• meeting legal, regulatory or dispute-resolution requirements; and
• sending product or company updates where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law, with an option to opt out.

We will notify you before using personal data for a materially different purpose unless an exception under applicable law applies.

4. Consent and withdrawal

By voluntarily submitting information for a stated purpose, you consent to our collection, use and disclosure of that information for that purpose and related reasonable purposes. Where required, we will seek additional consent.

You may withdraw consent with reasonable notice by contacting us. We will explain any likely consequences and stop the relevant collection, use or disclosure where required by law. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before it took effect or processing permitted without consent.

5. How we disclose personal data

We do not sell personal data. We may disclose it only where reasonably necessary to:

• service providers that host, secure or support demeter.sg, communications, forms or business systems, including Zoho CRM, which receives and stores demo enquiries on our behalf;
• professional advisers, auditors, insurers or prospective transaction advisers under appropriate duties of confidence;
• government, regulatory, law-enforcement or judicial authorities where required or permitted by law;
• protect the rights, safety, property or security of individuals, Coridors or others; or
• a successor or participant in a genuine corporate transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Service providers may process personal data only for the services they provide to us and subject to appropriate contractual or legal obligations.

6. Overseas transfers

Some service providers may process or store information outside Singapore. Where the PDPA applies, we will take steps required by law to ensure transferred personal data receives a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA, unless an exception applies.

7. Retention

We retain personal data only while it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, legitimate business or record-keeping needs, dispute management, or legal and regulatory requirements. We will then delete, anonymise, or otherwise cease retaining it in identifiable form where required.

Specific retention periods depend on the type of record, the status of the enquiry, legal requirements and technical constraints.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the personal data and relevant risks. No website, transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If a data breach occurs, we will assess and notify affected individuals and the Personal Data Protection Commission where required by applicable law.

9. Access, correction and other requests

Subject to legal exceptions, you may ask to access personal data under our possession or control, obtain information about how it was used or disclosed during the preceding year, or correct an error or omission. You may also contact us to withdraw consent, object to direct marketing, or raise a privacy concern.

We may need to verify your identity and request details needed to process the request. A reasonable fee may apply to an access request where permitted, and we will inform you of it in advance.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

Demeter does not use advertising cookies or behavioural tracking. The demo form submits information to Zoho CRM, but Zoho Webform Analytics is not loaded on this site. Zoho may process essential request data when you submit the form.

The site loads font files through Google Fonts. Your browser may connect directly to Google infrastructure and disclose ordinary request information, such as your IP address and browser details, subject to Google’s own privacy practices.

If analytics, advertising, embedded media, or other non-essential tracking is introduced, we will update this policy and implement any consent or preference controls required by applicable law.

11. Third-party links

Demeter links to third-party sites, including Coridors and Vesta. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services.

12. Children

Demeter is a business product and is not directed to children. Please do not submit personal data if you are under 18 without the involvement of a parent or guardian.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Demeter, our vendors, data practices or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted here with its effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the site or directly where appropriate.

14. Privacy enquiries and complaints

For access, correction, consent withdrawal, complaints or other privacy questions, email hello@demeter.sg with “Privacy” in the subject line.

We will aim to acknowledge privacy enquiries promptly and respond within the period required by applicable law.
